Mahsa Moghimi Esfandabadi is a multidisciplinary research and design engineer with over ten years of experience as a professional architect, project manager, and assistant professor. From building luxurious apartments and sports stadiums to designing habitats and greenhouses for future mars and moon missions, she is always passionate about pushing the boundaries of innovation. But Mahsa is also very enthusiastic about leading teams, building relationships, and engaging cross-functional companies.

In 2020, she graduated from the University of Houston as the first Middle Eastern person with an M.S. in Aerospace Architecture and later became the first Middle Easterner to serve on the AIAA Space Architecture Technical Committee. With her M.A. in Middle Eastern Architectural Studies and M.S. in Architectural Engineering, she has studied architecture's past, present, and future.

Augmenting her educational endeavors, she is also a director and secretary for the North Houston Space Society, a paper reviewer at conferences, and a juror at science and engineering events.
